Both infields at Cole Manor have been renovated and re-sodded thanks to the vision of Craig Undercuffler and Alfie Gardiner. The old infields were ripped out and replaced with Kentucky bluegrass sod. The base paths were narrowed as was the area in front of the batter’s box. The two-weekend project was completed with the help of several ENLL families. The new infields will play smoother and aid in the fielding of ground balls.

A very successful Spring Fling & Silent Auction was held on May 15th. Nearly 100 league members and friends attended this year’s event. All-in-all, approximately $2,800 was raised for ENLL. Thank you to everyone who attended and to those who participated in our first silent auction. We look forward to seeing all of you at next year’s event!

This e mail was received from parent, Michael Ciriello. It is a testimonial to the great program the East Norriton Little League has to offer.

I usually do not write long emails or letters, but my son Michael and I were moved by what I like to call the “ENLL Experience”, that I felt a need to express my gratitude. Michael played ball for another township last year. I truly believe that if he didn't play for ENLL this year he would have not developed and learned so much in one season. To me that says a lot about the dedication and the level of competition that makes ENLL great. Playing for ENLL this year felt like family. Thanks for allowing my son and I to share in such a great experience, the memories Michael and I shared with the Aero's will last a lifetime. Special thanks to Don Kenzakowski, my cousin John Carbone and Dana Carbone for making us feel at home; Bill Hitman for spending many hours helping Michael become a better ball player; Jeff Baker for keeping the kids loose, “Mr. Hit Stick Lee,” Steve Dimitry for always encouraging Michael when he wasn't hitting; Joe and Lynne McCafferty, and all the Aero's families. Thanks for all the fan support. ENLL committee, coaches, parents and players thanks for all your hard work and dedication. All of you should be proud to be part of this great organization. Good luck tournament teams!

Sincerely,

Michael Ciriello
