Little League
Mission Statement
Little
League Baseball, Incorporated is a non-profit organization whose mission is
to "to promote, develop, supervise, and voluntarily assist in all
lawful ways, the interest of those who will participate in Little League
Baseball." Through proper guidance and exemplary leadership,
the Little League program assists youth in developing the qualities of
citizenship, discipline, teamwork and physical well-being. By espousing the
virtues of character, courage and loyalty, the Little League Baseball
program is designed to develop superior citizens rather than superior
athletes.
About ENLL
East Norriton Little League offers six sanctioned
leagues from tee ball to senior. Our Little League program is
available to all residents
living within the boundaries of East Norriton Little League. ENLL is
an independent, non-profit organization that is run by parent
volunteers. We maintain two baseball facilities with a total of
four playing fields – two at Paul Fly Elementary School and two at Cole
Manor Elementary School. All parents – both moms and dads - have the
opportunity to participate on the ENLL Board of Directors and on the
various committees that help to manage our league throughout the
year.
ENLL offers both Spring and Fall Baseball Leagues.
Our regular season begins with game play in April and runs thru June,
ending in play-off games to determine league champions. Players in
our older leagues, primarily the National and Senior Leagues, are involved
in inter-league play with teams from neighboring townships. We also
select All-Star and District Team players to represent ENLL in post-season
tournaments and district play (which can run from June to August). It
is our goal to provide a quality baseball program that ensures
sportsmanship, parity among teams, and most importantly a fun learning
environment that encourages skill development, respect and comradery.
